A large number of cosmetics that we currently use have ingredients derived from animal products, or their safety is initially validated by testing on animals. However, this knowledge is upsetting to a number of individuals who would rather look for alternatives that are not based on animals, and instead uses ingredients based on vegetables, and without testing on animals.
